UK hip hop producer Configa has been an influential force in shaping hip-hop culture for more than two decades, producing some of the most iconic beats in the underground scene. Those familiar with Configa will be not be disappointed as he delivers yet another soon- to- be labelled a 'classic ' album for all to enjoy. Usually, when listening to any album first time, I can get a little impatient and find myself skipping through the tracks but  as soon as the intro kicked in I already knew I was about to hear something special. I've just listened to the new album from hip hop artist So Realistic and as usual he has delivered a very nice body of work. I've always been a fan of So Realsitic, just the fact that he is so real with his music and his message, each track is unique and as a whole, the album is easy to listen to...no need for skipping tracks. They always create something special to make the body move. The fans have already fallen in love with The APX remake of the Evelyn Champagne King classic “I’m In Love!” The track takes the listener back on memory lane to the 80s.  A time and place when music was real, and it was felt. The lyrics to “Sweet Surrender” is both captivating and insanely emotional showing the couples versatility, authenticity and pure lyricism. “Say You Will” will move it’s audience to their feet and raptured by the funkadelic beat. Creole King is a creative force, born and bred in the city of New Orleans, LA. As a child, Creole King discovered he had a flair for entertainment and love for creativity that was nourished by his home town. He would entertain his family and friends by imitating popular artists such as Jodeci, R.Kelly, LL Cool J, Dru Hill, and more. It was apparent that what began as fun and games, was a real vehicle for comedic timing and vocal abilities. Soon, music became his one true passion. Creole King honed his talent and incorporated his love for the Lord in the youth choir at First Hollygrove Baptist Church. As he developed, he began to compete in talent shows in the greater New Orleans area. In 1999, two friends, along with his twin brother, J. Henry, formed the group, Cristal. Miss R: When did you first start writing/rapping?  I started rapping at the age of nine. I always loved writing poetry and short stories for school and it naturally evolved from that into lyrics over beats. The odd thing is, no one in my family or among my friends were rapping, just me. My love for Hip Hop, I believe honestly was sparked by a very iconic show in my eyes, “Video Music Box”. It is hosted by Ralph Mcdaniels and still airs to this day. I would hurry home after school to watch it everyday, such good memories. Miss R: Who are your musical influences?   My first major influence was Rakim. After him, definitely Da Brat, Tupac, Queen Latifah, Jay-Z, MC Lyte, Nas, and AZ. It is probably a few I’m forgetting but I tend to gravitate toward artists with substance, those that have a message to convey. Miss R: What motivates you?   My Wife and God. I have been with my twin flame Alicia for almost 19 years and she has always supported my vision ...
